Luxury with a Flame

Candle Care & Safety

Before Lighting

  • Wick

Our wicks are already trimmed and are self-trimming. Between lights you may gently trim to ¼ inch before lighting to ensure an even, smoke-free burn.

  • Remove Packaging

Take off any tape, stickers (not the label), sleeves, or wrapping before use.

  • Choose a Safe Location

Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, vents, or flammable materials. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

During Burning

  • Allow a Full Melt Pool

Let the wax melt completely to the container’s edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling.

  • Limit Each Burn

Burn for no more than 3–4 hours at a time.

  • Stay Present

Never leave a burning candle unattended or fall asleep while it’s lit.

  • Avoid Drafts

Keep candles away from fans, open windows, and air conditioners to ensure an even, clean burn.

Extinguishing & Maintenance

  • Use a Snuffer or Dipper

Extinguish the flame using a snuffer to prevent soot and wax splatter. Avoid blowing out the flame.

  • Let It Cool

Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or relighting.

  • Keep the Wax Clean

Remove wick trimmings or debris from the melt pool to maintain a clean burn.

  • Know When to Stop

Discontinue use when only ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

Burn with Care

Failure to follow candle instructions can lead to fire hazards, property damage, or injury.
