Before Lighting

  • Wicks are self-trimming, but you may gently trim to ¼ inch before lighting to ensure an even, smoke-free burn.

During Burning

  • Let the wax melt completely to the container’s edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling.
  • Burn for no more than 3–4 hours at a time.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended or fall asleep while it’s lit.
  • Keep candles away from fans, open windows, and air conditioners to ensure an even, clean burn.

Extinguishing & Maintenance

  • Extinguish the flame using a snuffer to prevent soot and wax splatter. Avoid blowing out the flame.
  • Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or relighting.
  • Remove wick trimmings or debris from the melt pool to maintain a clean burn.
  • Discontinue use when only ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
